Dynamicity. If I had to choose a word to give a title to this photo I would choose this one. And the dynamism is precisely the characteristic of these birds that rarely stay still and that, indeed, take advantage of every opportunity to confront themselves, even lively. The composition and the light do the rest and make the overall image very pleasant

The so called "angel position" in one of the most looked for photographing the bee-eaters. What I like mostly in this picture is the idea of shooting it from the back of the bird and in backlight since this choice emphasise the elegance of the bird and the gorgeous colours

Six bee-eaters aligned and behaving as they were soldiers are something rare to see (personally I've never seen them) and this is the first interesting aspect of this picture. The second one is the good composition and the defocusing as far as the visual plan goes from foreground to background. The result is a very pleasant view

I would like to see your best colour photos featuring European bee-eaters. I would like to see great creativity and originality of shooting in your photos of these beautiful birds. Please avoid adding any heavy post-processing effects. In my judging I would prefer to see images without signatures, watermarks or frames.

A typical behaviour of the bee-eaters is to manage endless quarrels. They are so Latins in this| :D This picture is well framed, exposed and tells a story and one can imagine the songs of the conversation. Well done, mate!

A famous photographer, Ansel Adams if I'm right, used to tell that a picture captures his interest in two cases: if it depicts something never seen or if depicts something seen but in a unusual way. It's the case of this picture that presents a row of bee-eaters lined up and in good order as if they were swallows! And this is what makes this picture unusual and interesting
