How beautiful!

(Before I go any further, I want to tell you that you would be in my TOP 10 if black and white photos were valid. I asked for color photos. )

The light from a window is always a delight. So what if it's the light of a cloudy day? How can I not surrender? hehehe

The model's pose, has a jovially light reading, the (S) reading, the power of the use of the hands and arms... On one side more relaxed, on the other more tense. That reading, let me take myself into the drama that her face possesses.

The arrangement of the elements also really appealed to me. All that framing... I love it!

I love this composition told from the centre.

The way the light matches the overall setting, the subtle sparkles in the eye and hair give it a powerful look.

I notice the top hand with intention, in other words. I don't see it as a theatre piece, I see it connected to the eyes. They both convey good things to me.

The outfit choice was also very well designed, and for these reasons, and because it is so important to me to find images in this contest that convey things to me, and you did it so well, you deserve 1st place.

This is a picture worthy of someone who really knows what they are doing.

The construction of the lighting 'set' is very well done, the outlines very well drawn, as well as the props were well chosen.

However, I was looking for expressively pure images in this contest. And while all the execution is excellent, it's not enough to root my 'top' 10.

I do not know if the horizontal use, would not favour the picture a little more, it seems to me that the place would be interesting in that sense, although, the vertical reading is good.

I really like it when the play of lines is allied to reflections, and even better, when there is expressiveness and sensations in the mix.

And the water on the window glass? What could we ask for more? It was worth every second of reading.

The setting of this image, makes me think I am inside a movie. Although I understand that the light on the model, could be a little softer, it would help immensely in the cinematic inclusion.

The woman's expression, is compelling for storytelling. She is there, and everyone will be able to feel and tell a story in their own way, just as it should be in every image we make/see.

How can such a simple composition create so much impact? The answer is plain to see.

This expression says a lot, and not just because of the tear, not just because of the direction of the look, or the posture of the face.

This is my area of work, which makes me want to engage with every detail of this contest. And this image... It starts at the lips, were it not for them, half-open/half-clenched, this image probably wouldn't give me everything I wanted to see.

I really like the use of light, it fell very well with the skin tone and design of the model's face. I like the choice of blur points even more...it falls very well with the black clothing.

Sometimes simplicity has it all. And this image has what it takes for me to surrender. Congratulations.

This is an example of body expression, which is also very important for reading.

In this contest, I wasn't just looking for images of expressive faces. I wanted more than that. Although your image has some background shadows that bother me, the outfit was balanced with the body movement, which helped a lot.
