Brief

Factories aren't just the living, breathing centres of industry. Their robust and distinctive textures and shapes (both inside and out), and their dramatic social qualities make them excellent subjects for documentary and architectural photographers alike. For inspiration for this contest, why not look at photographer and director David Lynch's famous series on <a href="http://thephotographersgallery.org.uk/the-factory-photographs">abandoned factories</a>. And remember, photo-shoots in or of factories and other manufacturing units require careful pre-planning. Be safe, and good luck!
