Can I say I absolutely love this, I also have three daughters and can see how this could happen, I suppose we should be thankful it wasn't a nail gun... A good photograph should move you or provoke a reaction and this for me made me really smile. I am sure this has made many a person smile since it was created, well done on a great image.

We are all used to see those cute newborn photographs but to me this is far more special than any of those.

You can nearly feel the love the father has for his son in this shot and the look of delight in his sons face, all the while the mother is looking on smiling while holding their baby. When I think of family I think love, connections, hugs and emotion. This photograph has it all with a bit of wind thrown in also giving it such a natural feel and making it all about the moment. There is a beautiful feel to this photograph.

I am used to seeing the newborn crying on photo shoots so this put a huge smile on my face. I love having fun with photography and this shot puts a different spin on conventional family portraits. It might not be the parents favourite one from the photo shoot but then again you never know... Just think of that baby growing up and seeing theat photograph being displayed at their 18th birthday or wedding day... how priceless would that be? A good photograph should always tell a story and as soon as you look at this image a story slowly starts to unfold before you. You get sucked in with the light and then drawn to the people in the foreground then you drift out to the people on the foreground and you are now there in the room. It's a really beautiful photograph for a whole host of reasons.

I would have personally loved to have seen the shadow of the head also, it's only a small thing and not a criticism but a personal opinion. Beautiful photograph and very nicely framed.
