.. . and yes it really does here in this wonderful birds eye view of the harvest in progress. The use, or rather mis-use of drones has been under fire since they became more widely available, but in the right hands of respectful users, they can prove to be a powerful photographic tool offering us a beautiful new perspective of the world. I love everything about this image, especially the farmed lines in the crop and the beautiful shadows formed as the golden hour light shines on the harvest. A well deserved winner, congratulations!

I admire this image every time I see it here on Photocrowd. The beautiful curvature of the partially harvested landscape always draws me in, as does the ambience from the hazy morning sunlight. The mist in the distance has an air of mystery and it leaves me wondering what the bigger vista may look like on such a perfect morning. A beautiful and atmospheric piece, congratulations!

Ever since societies first transitioned from the hunter gatherer 'food capture' lifestyle to the more sustainable 'food production' one, there's been farming. The most visible transformation this made was to our landscapes. Upload your best photographs of 'farmed landscapes', showing how animals, crops and machinery affect and have affected our lands.

This is another great example of how the correct use of a drone can offer a wonderful perspective of the land, and I find this so refreshing to see. My eyes were instantly drawn into this image by the clever use of colours and lines which make this beautifully composed photograph stand out from the crowd. Well done!!

Night time photography can be really tricky, especially when you have little light to help you focus or work with. The ambient light from the tractor is all the photographer needed to take this wonderful atmospheric image of a farmer busy harvesting in the late hours. The wide aperture provides enough light to focus on the main subject whilst blurring out the unnecessary details.

What beautiful light and mood! I keep being drawn back into this image, because it's such a beautifully lit vista full of shadows and wonderful greens. I only wish the top right of the image was better lit, or brightened in post processing.

It's always a joy for me to see the fish eye lens used properly in the landscape. This is a perfect example of great fish eye photography, filling the entire scene with interest and even a sunlight starburst which is such a common feature with this type of lens.
