This photo is stunning, and exactly what I was looking for when I created this contest. Using colour theory, red and orange is opposite blue on the colour wheel; therefore, by using an warm toned orange eyeshadow underneath the models eyes, it really enhances their blue colour. Composition wise, I love the positioning of the model, and by taking the photo from an angle above her head height it is very flattering. The orange underneath the eyes really helps draw the viewers focus to them as the focal point of the image. The casual outfit works well with the unstyled hair and the minimal makeup. I could definitely see this image being used for fashion and commercial purpose. An amazing shot, well done!

This is one of my favourite photos entered into this competition, which is reflected in its top 10 status. The whole image is very unique and creative, and I haven't seen anything else like it. Composition wise, I love that the models face is the central part of the image, and the bokeh in the background really helps to define the focal point. By having the centre of the model's face in the image, it makes it perfect for a makeup company advertisement or magazine article; however, I would like to see this image with the model wearing a more dramatic eye or lip makeup to really make the image stand out. Overall, you captured an amazing image. Huge well done!

The thing that drew me to this image was the bright purple colour evident throughout the whole shot. By having the model in a lighter purple coloured dress, it is complimented by the flowers; however, helps the model stand out. The use of bokeh in the foreground and background again help to draw the focus to the model, and the motion you've captured within her dress and hair are very soft and whimsical. The bright red lip contrasts with the purple tones within the rest of the image, and allow the model's face to stand out. An image like this would be perfect for a fashion editorial magazine, and fits the brief perfectly. Huge well done!
