So much cheese. How doesn't love cheese. I really love this image. I don’t know what you did to get that blue tinge but that looks brilliant. Adding walnuts and honey to the image makes it just perfect. The only reason it is not higher up in my top ten is because it does not have a clear hero as I mentioned in the brief.
These dumplings look like gujiyas from my part of the world which recently celebrated Holi. Gujiya is the main dish in Holi. This image is beautiful. My eyes went from bottom to top scanning the entire image and the thing I liked was esthetically how pleasing this image is. It captures the entire process of making these dumplings and really tells a yummy story.
Congratulations on winning the contest. This is a superb image. Even though it is not a flat lay, as I mentioned in the brief, this can be tolerated. The thing I like about the image is its simplicity. I love the lighting and the way syrup is drizzled onto the plate. The combination of the plate, the food, the background and the garnish is to the point. Also not to forget the sharpness of the image that makes this treat look so, so appetizing.

I would love to see your flat lay photographs of food. This means that the photo must be taken directly from above, however a little here and there away from a totally direct overhead view is allowed. The photo can show any type of food from overhead, but there should preferably be a main item of food as the focal point, and all the food should be captured to look enticing, to make the viewer feel as hungry as possible.
