This is one of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen of the famous Abbaye de Sénanque at lavender time! Living not very far from there, I wish I had such a perfect one... Beauty and harmony of the whole, great compositon and subtle colours. May be a discrete post treatment giving the whole some very slight and nice engraving effect. The density of the flowers on this seashore is absolutely incredible! The beauty of these flowers enter in my heart and makes me smile! All the small heads looking at me are nicely sharp everywhere. I love the mysterious twilight of this somewhat wild garden. The big flowerbed in the foreground is overgrown by gorgeous yellow and red tulips bowing down under the rain and offers us an unexpected but nevertheless coloured and gorgeous look. The boat suggests some nice pond behind the trees that would be nice to discover while remaining dry under an umbrella... Than you for posting an image far from the beaten paths! A great jump oberseas, to New Zealand! A total change of scenery for me as I have never been there in person. This spectacular panorama is a great opportunity to wonder about the landcapes these islands may offer generously to the visitor when flying at bird's elevation.
