Forgotten Items

WOW, this is a very old and tatty looking shoe. It is very obviously been forgotten and probably many years prior to you taking this image. The grey colour and toned rocks allow the shoe to stand out, although the added touch of orangey/rust colour in the rocks allows the shoe to almost fit in with them. A clever and creative image. Well done.

Though this hat appears to be new it has obviously been forgotten as it is a casualty of wind. One minute on a head the next forgotten. I love the deep and vibrant colours. The image is beautifully composed and pin sharp. The seaweed on the groyne aids the images' sadness from the hat being forgotten. The hat being red makes it stand out too. A technically excellent image, well done.

Well this isn't what you expect to see in a tree! A sad and lost pink slipper. I like the way it sits on the branch and isn't over shone by other elements in the image. I like how you have added a small white border as it keeps you from getting lost too! A lovely image, well done.

This is a great way to change a saying we all know into something new and all from finding just one single forgotten item, well done. The diagonal lines add interest the image. The colours and tones blend really well and allow the hat to pop out the image too. A sharp and simple yet dynamic image. Well done.

WOW, now this is an image that holds a lot of emotion. If the pile of forgotten gas masks doesn't provoke deep and evocative thoughts then the lonely and forgotten doll on a demolished television sure will. The way you have chosen to photograph this has allowed you to compose it in a way that stops you going out the frame.
