Looking at some pictures, you instantly know who created them. This requires their creator to constantly shoot unique and original photographs. In this case, the abstract presentation of clear lines and geometrical elements based on architecture is the recognizable trait. This photo made it into the Top 10 because it’s a great example of the idea that you don’t need to overdo a subject. You don’t always need it to be a perfect whole. There’s another revelation hidden within the picture: the big-format presentation of the minimalistic portrayal (that is, the frame is larger and composed only of black-and-white lines) compensates for the lack of content, and even veils the lack of a main subject (there’s nothing in the window in particular). All in all, this photo transmits an unshakeable wholeness and perfection at the same time as remaining perfectly relevant to the brief.
This nature photo is a fine piece of art in its way. Perfect composition and the edge drawn by the leaf give the right dynamics to the picture. The background is nicely blurred with a sharp main theme. Great illumination lights! The colours are also magnificent and the portrayal of the lizard is fascinating and unique.
This piece of work is a touch of genius portraying the human existence in its utopian setting. The tension of the strict rectangular forms and contrasting elements is resolved by the figure of the walking couple composed right into the middle of the picture. The frame really holds a new meaning here, the dynamism of the recurring and distancing elements does not leave the theme static and makes us think further. An original and technically perfect photo!
Behold, abstract can also be done in colour! Some courage was needed to present this geometric diversity with these colours, but you succeeded. The warm, dark tones of the corridor is closed off by the harsh coldness of the slanted wall on the right, which itself has geometrical patterns. This very palpable contrast is resolved by the pictogram depicting a human figure. This is an interesting photo due to the uniqueness of the framed composition.

Every well-framed picture gains aesthetic value through its frame. Sometimes the frame can also add another layer of meaning. We would like you to create a photograph that is framed from the beginning, the frame being antique, modern, wooden, metal, or even paper. The bottom line is that the frame should already be present when the shot is taken.

A classical topic, a classical composition and a perfectly super-professional execution. A perfectly set exposition with perfect sharpness, perfect perspective and a perfectly symmetric structure: a perfect picture. The reason it didn’t end up in the Top 10 is because there were other, more thought-provoking, less commonplace photos.
