This is a really great macro shot and well executed. The exposure is spot on and we can even see some small details in the reflections in the water drops beaded around the spider web. You can also see detail in the fibres of the web. Well done.

The high contrast lighting emphasises the direction of the water spray while the warm tones help to convey that this is a refreshing experience and a chance too cool off rather than a shock to the system. The image says 'hot city summer' to me. - Angela

An alternative interpretation of the brief which works extremely well. The greens contrast boldly with the strong, warm oranges while the light on the cloths emphasises their cleanness. You've picked a good time of day to capture this image, the sun is clearly quite low in the sky so it casts shadows but they aren't too strong. - Angela
