These very shapely table legs look like beautifully defined, long legs of a female model. Her rounded knees descend down through delicate-shaped calf muscles towards pretty tiptoed ankles. I like the consistency of your colour palette and that one leg is positioned coyishly opposite the straight leg. Your superb photo is proof how well the Apple iPhone 12 performs in the hands of a competent photographer. I’m particularly pleased because (just between you and me) I’ve bought one as a Christmas present for my wife.
Silver streaks slithering down the height of your exquisite photo went straight to the top of my leader board, and nothing managed to knock it off its perch. There’s just enough information in your minimalistic, abstract composition to be able to recognise the partially shown subject matter. Including the base of the monochrome table legs reflected in the black shiny floor is a very nice finishing touch of your winning entry.
This geometric still life of a marble obelisk leg ticks all my boxes. The curves of the centred round base is beautifully offset by the straight triangular lines of the heavyweight it’s supporting. I can imagine you got some funny looks when you went down on your knees to take the photo at Kenilworth Castle. But your low position was well worth the odd look in exchange for your high position in this challenge.

I’m a sucker for multi-colours against black backgrounds. Add to that, a simple abstract composition with an intriguing point of view and I’m completely won over. This very different photo is one of few intriguing entries that went for unusual perspectives. Your photo, to my eyes, looks like three colour telescopes perched on stands, but I imagine others will have their own view to what the mysterious side-on objects resemble..

Your upside down table legs are like a forest of equally pollarded, royal blue tree trunks reaching towards the sky in the landscape painting. Straight verticals and horizontals compliment each other as do the blue tones of the sea, sky and furniture legs. I imagine this was exactly how you found the stacked tables in the school classroom and commend you for having the foresight to include the whole oil painting to enhance your composition.
I like the fact that you made the effort to crouch down low to capture the symmetrically arranged table and chairs legs. The high contrast of your black and white photo works well with the shiny chrome legs reflected in the polished floor surface. Your horizontal and vertical lined photo is a very smart composition which should come as no surprise as it was expertly taken with your smartphone.
There were many entries in this challenge showing large, ostentatious, sculptured legs but this one caught my eye because of the well-balanced composition. The gold and blue room decor matches the two-tone colours of the ornate sofa and I like how you’ve positioned the leg on the rule-of-thirds. The horizontal lines of your still life take the eye effortlessly from one end of the frame to the other devouring the beauty of your photo along the way.

I want to see your photos of furniture legs. They can be taken close-up or from further back but the legs must be the main focus of your photo. Legs with barley twists, claw feet or on castors look particularly good whether antique or modern. Photos can be in colour or black and white but please do not enter human, animal or toy legs. Show me how original you can be with something as simple as furniture legs.
