Ordinarily, my personal preference is a more realistic representation when it comes to flowers and a lot of photography in general. However, I think this swirly, painterly look of these lovely bleeding heart flowers looks really lovely and the effects chosen to apply in Photoshop suit the delicate nature of this plant's blooms and drooping stems. I love the colors here as well, the swirls of pink, purple and green are very complementary.
Beautiful choice of this group of fuchsia flowers. The colors look lovely against the black background. The point of view angled slightly upward works very nicely, and the flowers are in good focus. I love the capture of what to me looks like the fuchsia in 3 different phases, full bloom, just beginning to bloom, and tight buds. Congratulations, and thank you for entering my contest.

Such a lovely image, I love the soft muted greens in the background, with the lovely white columbine in the foreground with lovely details, great focus, such a wonderful pastel image, and looks so fresh with maybe the morning dew placing the wonderful tiny water droplets on the flower, or maybe just a gentle misting rain, either way, a beautiful result and terrific photo. The detail and lighting on the two center bleeding hearts and the bee just really wowed me the first time I saw this image. The bee itself just seems to be all aglow and the details are so clear on the bee and center two flowers with a softer focus out to the sides, which is perfect as the bee and middle flowers was the main focus area. Just a fantastic capture of the perfect moment when the light was lending its magic to the subject! Thank you so much for entering my contest.

What a lovely arrangement of various colors of columbine blooms. The focus, colors, arrangement and details are very nice. The colors complement each other well. I really liked this image a lot, and as my first time judging it was hard to narrow to a top 10 among so many great images, and I can't think of anything I would suggest differently in your photo, so I really wanted to acknowledge it with a judge commend.
