Jay's done a terrific job at photographing this iconic location, Mam Tor, in the Peak district. his composition is effective, positioning the horizon about a third of the way down from the top of the frame and using the wooden fence as a lead-in line to guide the eye towards the epic sunrise. He's also done a brilliant job at retaining highlight and shadow detail in such a high contrast scene.

Sam's caught an incredible wildlife photo here of a stag on a misty morning, bathed in wonderful golden light. He's done a terrific job at composing, placing the stag on the left of the frame and looking towards the active space on the right. He also waited until the stag let out a frosty breath which makes the image even more special.

John's caught an incredible shot of this black bird, which is pin-sharp and expertly frozen in time using a rapid shutter speed of 1/4000 sec. He's also composed nicely, position the bird on the right of the frame with plenty of active space to move into on the left. The only criticism is that the lighting is quite muted for a golden hour shot and feels more like a photo taken in the blue hour.
