Jay's done a terrific job at photographing this iconic location, Mam Tor, in the Peak district. his composition is effective, positioning the horizon about a third of the way down from the top of the frame and using the wooden fence as a lead-in line to guide the eye towards the epic sunrise. He's also done a brilliant job at retaining highlight and shadow detail in such a high contrast scene.

Tom's shot a fantastic coastal landscape here, using the lighthouse as his main focal point and shooting towards the sun at golden hour to capture the incredible range of tones. With such a high contrast scene he's done a great job to achieve deep shows and retain bright highlights.

Malcolm's caught an amazing coastal scene with loads of depth to it, with crashing waves in the foreground, lighthouse acting as the focal point and that incredible fiery sunset behind. His shutter speed of 1/2 sec was just long enough to inject some artful motion into the waves. Great job!

Jason’s image of a lioness has some incredible warm sunset tones and detail. The low angle makes for an intimate shot and the eye contact is fantastic, with Jason making sure to focus on the lioness’s closest eye. Great job!

Jean’s done a brilliant job with this landscape, photographing the iconic Eilean Donan castle, he’s composed using the perfectly still loch to add a stunning reflection. Shooting in the golden hour, the sky is lit up with an incredible colour palette.

What a wonderful image June has taken at this classic landscape location in Tuscany. Shooting with a telephoto Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM lens she's been able to zoom in and fill the frame with the buildings, shadows, clouds and incredible golden lighting. Great job!

Caroline's taken a beautiful woodland portrait, using the warm golden hour lighting to add colour to her scene and backlight the couple too. The woodland setting has diffused and dappled the light for even more gentle lighting and the bluebells on the forest floor add a brilliant pop of colour.

Chad's sunrise seascape at Scotts Head in New South Wales, Australia is filled with an intense fiery colour palette and some dramatic motion in the crashing waves. He's expertly used a long exposure of 1 second and set up on a tripod to inject some motion into the moving water.

Sam's caught an incredible wildlife photo here of a stag on a misty morning, bathed in wonderful golden light. He's done a terrific job at composing, placing the stag on the left of the frame and looking towards the active space on the right. He also waited until the stag let out a frosty breath which makes the image even more special.

Matjaz has captured an incredible scene of the church at the very photogenic Lake Bled, Slovenia. Shooting in the golden hour has bathed this amazing landscape in rich tones and warm golden lighting. The symmetrical composition using the water's reflection works nicely too.

John's caught an incredible shot of this black bird, which is pin-sharp and expertly frozen in time using a rapid shutter speed of 1/4000 sec. He's also composed nicely, position the bird on the right of the frame with plenty of active space to move into on the left. The only criticism is that the lighting is quite muted for a golden hour shot and feels more like a photo taken in the blue hour.

Madison's landscape is full of dramatic lighting, clouds and brilliant architecture. By shooting on a tripod and extending the shutter speed she's also been able to shoot for 30 seconds, which has wonderfully blurred the water and clouds, giving her image a painterly quality.
