Great Britain

There were many images of The Houses of Parliament in the Great Britain contest, but this one stood out for me. The reflection is perfect and the photographer has used the light exceptionally well. I would have been proud to have taken this image. A worthy winner.

I absolutely love the British eccentricity of this image, the time and effort that has gone into it is clearly evident. The more I looked at it the higher it climbed in the competition rankings, the fact that it is different from any other entry finally made my mind up to give it 3rd place

A beautiful image of Buttermere with stunning relection. The letterbox crop works especially well. The cottage on right gives the eye something to lead towards to. The image certainly gives justice to an amazing part of Great Britain. Well Done

A stunning image of the 'Walkie Talkie'. The sharpness of the building and the whispyness of the clouds complement each other perfectly. The more I look at this photo, the more I fall in love with it. A very well executed image. Well Done

An absolutely stunning black and white image of an iconic British landmark. I was drawn to this image almost instantly. The tonal range is perfect and the reflection of the bridge is just right. A very worthy 2nd place. Well Done
