the framing is great. the blue body pops against the black in such a great way. everything is crystal clear and sharp but for me the essence of this shot really is the rosewood fingerboard and the way all the shades and woodgrain pops with a stunning hue. the highlights and shadows work so well for me its a worthy winner in a close competition.

Simple, effective, modern and vintage all rolled in with a great use of negative space. I love the way the colour palette goes from one end of the orange scale all the way to the deep brown and the highlights on the guitar make it pop. a classical guitar in a classical setting.

Blood sweat and tears are the ingredients to any art whether its music or photography and this image really brings that to the forefront. the emotions that this image brings make it difficult to look at without thinking of the emotions, pain and suffering some struggling artists have to deal with. the frame is filled and full of detail and the colour is vibrant yet natural.

This shot gives me real Jimi vibes as I am sure was intended, this could have been taken in 1968 or 2024. The black and white is a positive and sets up the historical nature of the image and accents the guitar beautifully as the player is set for a chord. the composition of the image is set really well against the brick and fills the entire frame with context and depth. Love it

this shot almost made my top ten! I love the colours and the angles of the picture. the play on the theme hits the mark for me and captures every frustrated guitarist who wishes they could be the next John Mayer . for me it shows the love of the instrument in a very special way. wonderful
