Harbours

Congratulations for being in my top 10! You dont often get to see harbours with no water in so this makes a really interesting photograph. It is perfect for being in black and white as the shine on the wet floor creates a great contrast and makes for wonderful tones. Wonderful photograph, well done.

Congratulations for coming 1st place in my competition. I chose this photograph because it not only shows a harbour, but the fishing equipment that is associated with harbours. I love how the fishing nets are lined up in a very uniformed way. It is very pleasing to the eye. I also like the black and white tones and the moody sky. Well done!

Congratulations for second place. This harbour is one of my favourites to visit and you have captured it wonderfully. I see it as a wonderful image that someone would buy after their trip to see the harbour. The Blue skies and a lovely colour tone to the water makes it so appealing to look at. I also think you have found a great spot to shoot this image from as I know the harbour bends around and you have managed to get quite a lot of the harbour in. Well done.
