In this contest I want to see your very best HDR images of building interiors. Any type of building is permitted and your entries may be in colour or monochrome but the submitted images must not include any people. HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography is a generic term for a variety of techniques that typically combine the image information from multiple exposures into a single image with the preservation of highlight and shadow detail beyond the limitations of a single exposure. Depending on personal preference the HDR processing can yield images ranging from naturalistic to surreal but when pushed too hard can introduce unsightly and unwanted artifacts such as haloes around hard edges and a tendency for bright whites to become grey. Please no pictures of building exteriors, only interiors of buildings.

How it works

Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.

Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
