A really good shot. I like the way it looks as though it has blond hair above the eyes and the paint then looks as though the right eye is weeping. In my own collection I have so many different handles that look like faces, I could probably publish a little booklet. There has been a very good entry of excellent images and I had a difficult job choosing a Top 10. Thanks for entering and I hope you like my choices.
Such a great image and one I would have been pleased to call my own. Unfortunately, with such a good amount of entries, I decided to discount all shots that seemed brief and ephemeral; smoke, clouds, fire, snow and water were all included in the shots that I didn't mark. I really do like this though, maybe a rowing club would buy the image?
A really good shot and well spotted. I love the way the cloud/jet stream forms a cigarette. There were a lot of great images and I was forced to stick to my brief that the image should be there for all to see at any time and not ephemeral or transient. Although I mentioned clouds, I also discounted water, fire and smoke. There has been a very good entry of excellent images and I had a difficult job choosing a Top 10. Thanks for entering and I hope you like my choices as winners.

There was hardly any snow on Mt Cook when I flew over a few years ago. A really good shot and well spotted. I really do like this image, very well spotted. I can't work out whether the likeness is human or animal, though. I think it looks sad, probably because it's on a chopping board. There was a very good entry of excellent shots and it was difficult narrowing it down to a Top 30, never mind a Top10. Thanks for entering, Pat.
A great image, very high impact on first viewing. My wife said it looked like that Double Espresso moment. A really good shot and well spotted. There has been a very good entry of excellent images and I had a difficult job choosing a Top 10. Thanks for entering and I hope you like my choices as winners.
A really well spotted image and a good shot, well done. One of only three vehicle "rear images" to make the cut into the Top 20. I like the big laughing mouth. There has been a very good entry of excellent images and I had a difficult job choosing a Top 10. Thanks for entering and I hope you like my choices as winners.

Well spotted, a very good shot. I can't believe I've never spotted this in all my visits to Warkworth, probably too busy heading for The Masons. There has been a very good entry of excellent images and I had a difficult job choosing a Top 10. Thanks for entering and I hope you like my choices as winners, Pat.

As photographers, we walk around with our eyes wide open and receptive, but often there is a 'hidden' image', that little face that you see in brickwork, or in bushes, or an a building. That's what we're looking for in this contest; it's called "Apophenia" and is the human tendency to perceive meaningful patterns within random data. Submit your images for us all to smile at but, please, try not to enter shots of clouds, these images should be there for all to see at any time., and definitely no Photoshopped or rigged pictures. Be aware and enjoy it.
