Hidden Faces

A really good shot. I like the way it looks as though it has blond hair above the eyes and the paint then looks as though the right eye is weeping. In my own collection I have so many different handles that look like faces, I could probably publish a little booklet. There has been a very good entry of excellent images and I had a difficult job choosing a Top 10. Thanks for entering and I hope you like my choices.

I like this image because of the seeming isolation. I just can't work out whether it's sad or stunned. I would have liked the brickwork to be a bit lighter but nonetheless a great shot. Well done and thanks for entering, Pat.

Such a great image and one I would have been pleased to call my own. Unfortunately, with such a good amount of entries, I decided to discount all shots that seemed brief and ephemeral; smoke, clouds, fire, snow and water were all included in the shots that I didn't mark. I really do like this though, maybe a rowing club would buy the image?

This is an excellent image, although I do think it looks like the profile of a lion. It was my wife's favourite and certainly deserved to be in the Top10. A great shot, well done, and thanks for entering, Pat.

I really do like this image, very well spotted. I can't work out whether the likeness is human or animal, though. I think it looks sad, probably because it's on a chopping board. Happy 21st birthday to a great image. I really do like these binocular viewers as faces, they look almost Incan, but a very clever idea to give them arms and legs. A very sad skyline unfortunately, but a piece of history. Well done.

An excellent image and a good example of apophenia, it really does look like an ancient warrior. Very well spotted, I'm sure the sun highlighting the stone helped. I do like it and wish I could have ranked it higher, but there was some stiff competition.
