High-Key

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. This image is a perfect example of high key portraiture. thus proving that lighter tones void of darker colors can be very pleasing on the eye. The netting cast over her face also tends to emanate feelings of a demure and soft approach to the portraiture. The downcast look also allows us to feel the woman's present state of mind thus being that of a melancholic nature. Congratulations and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The high key nature of this image is very apt thus using the whites in their full potential to demonstrate this principle. The symmetry and length of the passage allows the eye to follow through the image in an apt fashion. The main point of interest - this being the darker crossed legs tends to break away from the principle of a high key in a smaller dimension which suits the image in its entirety. This was a very apt approach considering the soft, demure nature of the image at hand, The soft pinks of the netting encompassing her face also tend to be high key in nature . The direct gaze of the woman into the camera tends to draw the viewer into the image thus to peruse it further. Congratulations and well done !
