You have timed this image perfectly so that the low sun is hitting the threes in the background and on the island and the dew hasn't burned off fully, so there's mist rising from the branches. The subtle tones in this image are beautiful.

I love the way the hilltops and the footpath along are emerging from the mist, I can imagine seeing it sweep across the landscape. It's a very well-spotted and composed image with excellent exposure that makes me want to climb those hills. - Angela

What a fabulous location photographed in lovely soft light. The colours are superb and we love how the rough texture of the boat is also seen in the building and the remnants of the old fence so they are visually connected.

You visited this location at the perfect time to capture the frost on the boardwalk and the beautiful glow of the rising sun that's just hitting the top of the windmill. It's a very tranquil image with wonderfully subtle colour gradations that you have handled well.

This is a fantastic shot that really makes you think about this month's theme.

This is one of the best Milky Way images I've seen. The exposure and composition are both perfect. This is a great take on the Home Views theme this month, showing us a view of our local area that we rarely ever see, and which also reinforces how small we really are in the grand scheme of things. -Jeff

What I love about this image is that there is so much to see. Each viewing you can find something else that's interesting. I also like the use of black and white, and the exposure gives it a nice atmosphere. - Jeff

What I love about this image is the framing. It's a great example of how to photograph a familiar subject, such as a landmark like the Seattle Space Needle. By using these two cement windows as a frame it creates a unique view of the city. - Jeff

I've seen many images of Tower Bridge but never one in conditions like this, it works very well. The ghostly feeling is enhanced by the fact that there's no traffic on the bridge - something I've also never seen. Well done for getting out in the right conditions at such an early hour!

We were immediately intrigued by this image and wondered why the buildings were semi-submerged. Now we realise that they are boathouses, it makes perfect sense. You've captured them in glorious conditions and using a long exposure has delivered a beautiful reflection.

The majority of the images submitted for this challenge were of rural scenes and we love that you have turned your attention to the city instead and included people in the frame. You have created a very atmospheric image that suggests the early-morning awakening of a city. Great work!

This image reminds me of early-morning dog walks, it's the type of scene that is only witnessed by those out for an early walk or to capture a special image. The building on the other side of the river creates a superb silhouette and you've handled the exposure of the foliage in the foreground extremely well.

We love the minimalism and simplicity of this image. The overhead perspective and the strong diagonal lines running through the frame really offer the viewer a unique perspective on this month's theme of Home Views. You've also selected the perfect time during the harvest for this shot, the combination of the harvested field in the top right corner and the harvest in progress works very well.

This is such a beautiful image. It almost looks like an abstract painting or even a relief map. We love the colours and the glow that the early morning light casts across the rugged landscape which contrasts superbly with the surrounding water.

What a superb view, it's the sort of scene that is only known by locals and they would immediately recognise it in a photograph. The archway makes the perfect frame for the clock tower and we like how the steps in the foreground draw your eye upwards.
