Firstly, thank you for entering my competition. The simplicity involved in this image once again proves the theory that less is more. Without an uncluttered background we are able to focus more on the main point of interest- that of the splash and shattering of glass.The choice of a darker background tends to contrast well with the cracked glass. Firstly, thank you for entering my competition. The disarray of needlework items tends to emphasize the reality of any seamstresses working environment and one anybody involved in needlework would understand only too well. The retro vintage appeal was a good choice - this ranges from the wooden cotton reels which hence have been replaced by cardboard or plastic to the retro scissors , these items are seldom found in your general store in today's world. This reveals to us the dying nature of the seamstresses trade in light of the modern commercial world. Congratulations and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering my competition. The simple usage of a grater to cause such an astounding image shows great creativity and innovation. The simplicity of the object at hand - the grater- is the perfect choice and doesn't tend to draw our attention away from the light and shadow that so captivates our attention. Look more closely at the practical, maybe beautiful, objects that surround you, and give them their time to shine.
Firstly, thank you for entering my competition. This image's strength lies in the fact that the concept of- less is more -tends to work perfectly. One's attention is immediately drawn to the main point of focus- that of the tape measure. In my opinion I feel that it could've provoked more interest if the tape measure was slightly unwound showing more of it's shape and curves The clarity , however is perfect as well as the choice of black and white for this image.
