Hummingbirds

I love the use of color in this photo. The purple and orange flowers really compliment the green. The blurred yellow flowers in the background add another nice touch of color. The focus of the bird is perfect and it really allows the viewer to see all the detail of this amazing creature. Great job!

It is hard enough to get a great shot of one hummingbird; to get a great shot of two birds is award-winning! I love the colors in this photo: the red flower and the green background compliment each other very well. The faces of the birds are in sharp focus which really directs the viewer's eyes to the center and to the flower. Yet the blur in the wings reminds the viewer that the two birds are very much in motion. Great capture!
