I absolutely love this photo. The harsh and high sun has highlighted and made stronger the story of this man. His rough skin, the fact that he is carrying huge pail of wood on his backs, and the mountains visible in the background, all of it under the harsh sun and works just beautifully. For this contest I want to see your best photos taken during the time of day when the sun is high in the sky giving harsh light from above. This kind of lighting is difficult to work with but it does not mean you have to keep your camera in your bag. Examples of things you can do to make it work include landscapes, silhouettes, faceless portraits etc. The subject can be of your choice but it has to be positioned under high, direct sunlight, not in the shadow or overcast conditions. For my judging I will appreciate new photos, not those I see in almost every contest.
