An unusual image of the Brooklyn Bridge obtained using the in-camera out of focus technique. An essential graphic composition, two lines made by luminous points that identify this famous monument in a night version.

A delicate and poetic image that communicates, tells a story, despite the strong out of focus. A very off-centre composition that creates curiosity, like the female figure who shyly leans out at right side. When I saw this picture, it reminded me of Japan and then I read that it was actually taken there.

In this photo I am struck by the combination of the warm colors of the lights on the large gray background. They are only small points but create life and warmth. An effective minimalist image with pleasant use of the in-camera out of focus technique.

Thank you Todd for joining my “Intentional In-camera Out of focus” contest and congratulations on your second place! Just a detail of the tulip's chalice, out of focus, but clearly recognizable. An evanescent and strong beauty. This image struck me at first glance, both for the bright red that fills the frame or for the delicate soft focus.

Thank you Benjamin for joining my “Intentional In-camera Out of focus” contest and congratulations on your 10th place! This wasp is very original, it looks like a UFO floating in the air. Nicely isolated on the white background with a minimalist effect. Even so out of focus, this insect has a not reassuring look.

A well composed image with the couple isolated against the uniform background of the sea, it tells the story of two young lovers. You can perceive the out of focus with the particular ring-shaped bokeh caused by the catadioptric lens.

Thank you for joining my “Intentional In-camera Out of focus” contest and congratulations on your 3th place! A beautiful minimalism, few elements that characterize a sunrise or sunset over the sea: the circle of the sun and a hazy cloud, with the background that fades gently from golden to blue. Maybe it was made by mistake, but if you have not deleted it and, on the contrary, you have proposed it, it means that this out of focus liked you too.

Thank you Aga for joining my “Intentional In-camera Out of focus” contest and congratulations on your 8th place! I was struck by this appealing out of focus effect, a confused foreground like a meadow of stardust and blurred people in the background.

A perspective of two light trails, one white and one red, produced by car headlights, which fan out. I love the out of focus created by the Lensbaby and the effect that this lens creates on points of light: here like white drops in the black night sky.

Some large well-defined circles, which stand out against the black background, a simple and perfectly on the topic image. A pleasant out of focus that I read it is created by a unusual lens.
