Interesting Shadows

What an incredible shadow. I love the size difference between the bird and the shadow it cased. You have a great eye and did an amazing job keeping everything in focus. It also looks pretty genuine in that I don't notice a lot of post-processing.

I applaud your creativity. Great idea and I love the color play. I think that you should have spent a little more time on the details around the edge where the orange and yellow shadows meet. I was going to put it in 1st place but for that.

I celebrate your creativity. My purpose for this contest was to see how creative photographers can be with shadows. This is the type of creative work that I appreciate. I hope that you continue with your creative photography. I am looking forward to seeing more work out of you.

The subject is near to my heart. I have had many dachshunds in my life and they really are an interesting breed. You have captured the joy and spunk that these little big dogs have. As David Hockney once said about his paintings of dachshunds. "I make no apologies for the apparent subject matter."

Bravo! Incredible shot and crop. The focus on the shadows is a really good idea in this action shot. I wouldn't have and don't think that I have ever seen anyone making this the subject. You have deserved a commendation.
