I like this shot of the iconic 'dark hedges' in Armoy, Co Antrim. The tones are wonderful and it has the autumnal colours and coolness to enhance it further. The 200mm lens is perfect to shoot this scene and compress it as described (thank you for locating and the details). A great shot deserving of the top 10 placement.

This is a winner. An outstanding shot in my own Donegal. The perspective, light, framing and slightly slow exposure all deserve credit. Your timing with the cloud and the almost setting sun perfect. The blend between the terrestrial and marine give the shot a wonderful balance. Truly a great photography and deserving of first place in the competition.

An area I know well and and I love this panorama and the way you have stitched it together. A lot of effort has been put into getting this shot right and the outcome is truly commendable. I love it! The light on the causeway and the sensitive use of HDR all help to make this a great photograph. Well done.

A long exposure from Coumeenole beach in the Dingle peninsula. I like the perspective and light together with the greens of the landscape and the contrasts between sea, beach and rocks. A great location and a commendable shot of an iconic part of the Irish coast.

The deadwood in the foreground, the morning mists, reflections, tranquility and calm all make this a beautiful shot. It would be nice to state where it was taken? The balance between light and shadow is well done and provides a nice contrast in tones. it is also quintessentially Irish! Well done.

A lovely perspective on Ireland's most iconic cliffs. The cloud, evening light on the horizontal beds of rock and on the Armeria flowers which typify most of the west coast of Ireland. The foreground is integral to making this a good shot. Nicely balanced and deserving of it place in the top 10.

The classic reflections at Derryclare, Connemara are actually quite hard to get as they occur so infrequently. I really would like to see the location named and pinpointed on the map as it does help! Nonetheless this is a lovely tranquil shot which is well balanced with autumnal colours and tones.

A wonderful image with a great starburst and golden hour light. The angle and perspective are all great and so too the location with wonderful coastal stacks and cliff features. There is a nice tonal balance between light and shade providing a good contrast. Deserving of a top 10 placement in the competition.

A classical and iconic shot on the Dingle Peninsula at Coumeenole. A moody but interesting shot with a slightly slow exposure giving a feeling of motion. These rocks, which are very distinctive, lead into the fading cliff line in the distance. The light reflecting off the rocks adds to the impact of the shot. Deserving of its place in the top 10.

A moody and somewhat dark shot of Dunluce and the White Chalk rocks beyond. Atmospheric and well balanced. I like the slightly long exposure which just gives a sense of movement and a feeling of 'game of thrones' type desolation. Despite being dark it is sharp and deserving of a commendation.

One of Donegal's most iconic beaches and a beautifully taken image. This image exudes mood, perspective and with a slightly slow exposure and sense of movement and wave energy. The balance between the marine and terrestrial is perfect with the horizon following the rules of thirds. A great location and shot, deserving of a top 10 placing.

A wonderful panorama of stitched images which is quintessentially Irish. One or two of the clouds have the highlights blown out but it doesn't detract from the impact of the image. the most distinctive physical feature, the hill, is beautifully placed and it is this which is the strength of the image. A truly commendable shot.

An iconic shot but with great light and beautifully composed. The pine trees with their rust coloured needles and the bright green with the light give the image balance and substance. I like the dark to light and the contrasts with the path acting as a natural divide. An image deserving of commendation.

This is Ireland. Greenery in the form of fields and trees and a farmer with his sheep. The road with grass in the middle typifies rural Ireland and provides a nice leading line into the image as the sheep disappear. The sky is possibly a little over exposed but nonetheless a good image.

I would love to know where this is? A typical Irish scene with great light and a ruined cottage from bygone times. the mountains with a hint of snow, the light on the gable wall of the building, the autumnal or wintry tones and a feeling of remoteness all add to the quality of the image. Commendable indeed.
