I’m not sure what pulls me in more, the details of the wall or of the garbage cans. I find this image stunning and I want to know more.

An abandoned pool in the South of France that has morphed into an junkyard? Perhaps. I keep looking. I can’t stop. I’m still just not sure what I’m seeing, but I wish I could see it in person as the photographer in me wants to capture the intricacies.

I just love this image, yet it breaks my heart at the same time.

The composition is stellar, the colors and contrasts on point, yet even with its technical perfection, I’m haunted by the subjects, the eyes of the children, those engaging the lens and those not.

I love its sharp focus and contrasts yet the softness of the leaves. I love that you have to sit with it for a bit to take in what your seeing, an aura of mystery and a bit of wok required to truly digest the composition.
