What a superb eerie feeling this image presents, a really ghostly effect from a longer exposure. I really love the colour palette here with vast and contrasting shades of blue. The only slight distraction with this is the white stripe in the bottom left hand corner, I think the image could be improved slightly if that was muted out through photo shop. That said its a very minor irritation, great shot well done.
A really well spotted image, which for me generates an interesting and varied taste in textures. The golden yellow of the double lines marries perfectly with the Guinness trade logo and sign, this bring harmony and balance to the image. The reflect in the water is a great addition to this and is complemented by the various stone textures found throughout. The effects very much draws you in and ticks all the boxes for me. Well done this was very much a break in the chain from the many numbers of quality yet similar entries.

My top 10 actually has a range of different shots but bridge shots where in there multitudes in general in the competition. With this one I liked the simplicity and the fact it is all natural, no photo shop effects. We have a great reflective image on the river which adds a great depth to the image and although the colours are generally muted the red of the bridge really is quite bold. Wonderful image well done.

There are a number of great tricks to improve the composition of your photography, and one of the most underutilized of these is drawing a viewer's attention to specific points in an image using what are known as leading lines. Leading lines are natural lines in the image that lead the viewer's eye to another point in the image or, occasionally, out of the frame entirely. Here I want to see the use of roads, tracks, railroads or bridges to draw your attention from one point to another, so quite a broad brief. Good luck.
