Less is More

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. the concept of 'less is more' is illustrated perfectly in this image . The eye is immediately drawn from the grungy yellow wall towards the lamp and letterbox in a pleasing way- the shadow also tends to add as a point of interest but does not divert from the topic at hand. The slight grungy feel and the bright yellow wall also gives the image a certain unique feel of it's own.Congrats and well done!

The central position of the gentleman,his dog and the pole and are perfectly composed in the middle of the image- this immediately draws the eye towards the point of interest This serves as another perfect example of the concept "miinimalism " and "negative space" The ebb and flow of the line on the paving also serves to break the horizontal lines provided by the sea, beach,paving as well as the vertical line of the lamp post.
