I love the colours in this shot giving a strong sense of depth. I am also amused by the figures on the boat and the idea of using a table precariously balanced on the boat as a platform, we are told, to replace a light bulb! Good capture.

I guess it is inevitable for all water skiers that at some point they will become a cropper. I can understand the need to use a high shutter speed to capture the action. However, I like the movement suggested by the wave and spray of the water against the still of the skier. Good composition.

Well the camera holding person wanted a close-up but seems to have got more than the bargained for! I like the sharpness of the eyes and face in this shot as well as cropping which keeps us focused on the purpose of the shot.

I like the look of inevitability on the ladies face, 'shut your eyes, point and hope for the best!. Good capture of an awkward moment indeed. The look on the birds face looks terrifying whilst the blur effect of its wings give a sense of speed.

This ladies expression is priceless.I like the sharpness of the main subject which his enhanced by the calmness of her partner riding behind her. I realise the moment need to be captured quickly but would have enjoyed seeing what the elephants expression was portraying. Nonetheless, I do like this shot.

One has to assume the canoeist is not meant to be in the position he finds himself. A sharp image that has retained a sense of action form the expression in bot participants faces as well as the feeling the main subject looks as if he will propel out of the photograph and land upon the viewer. I really like this shot.

The very thought of a young person riding a bucking sheep at all makes me laugh. I like the way the photographer has composed this shot with the young person the main focus but no doubt that the sheep is not going to tolerate them on their back. Great.

One has to wonder what was going on here and that is why I have commended this shot, it makes one question, was it anger at someone else stealing her pitch, was it disgust at something a passer by had said or was it disgust at the thought of a meal from the Masala Zone? Who knows but great capture.

We have all witnessed, or indeed been involved in, an awkward moment. As photographers, we always hope to capture one of those awkward moments. Therefore, in this contest I would like to see your shots of an awkward moment that you have been lucky enough to capture naturally. No studio set ups please, let's see the shots of an awkward moment that were a 'one off' capture. Good luck.
