Lit by Streetlights

I enjoyed how vibrant this scene is and could spend a long time looking at it. There's a sense of movement in the people and the taxis, but there is also the subtle play of light and dark through the image.

This image is so full of character! I love the way that you've applied the conventions of moody, black and white street portraiture, with the shadows and Rembrandt lighting, to capture this dog. There's also a clear technical challenge in photographing a black creature in the dark.

I enjoyed the colours in this image and the contrast between the group reading the menu and those moving around them. The decision to zoom out and show the area around and above the restaurant is interesting and I think it works well.

I really liked the richness of the colours in this image - it's a great example of how different colours can look at night. It's uncluttered, which means that you can really focus on the mismatched and slightly wonky buildings.

I was impressed by this image and first glance, and even more impressed when I discovered that it was taken with a phone. I particularly liked the way you've used reflections, and the choice of black and white works perfectly.
