Long Exposures

Beautiful glass-like water in this image. I like the symmetry of the jetty, and really love the black and white tones produced in this capture. I also like the dark outline of the land splitting the top third of the frame. Pleasing to the eye.

Love the work of Antony Gormley, I've been to Crosby beach and seen "Another place, as well as seeing 1 of these statues outside a hotel in Tromso, Norway. This image is lovely, I like the minimal feel, and the single colour predominant in the picture. It gives a great feeling of emptiness and isolation, with the solitary figure knee deep in the water. Great work.

Durdle Door, an iconic British landscape/seascape, and superbly captured. I like how the sea has rendered so calm and smooth. Some motion in the clouds, but not too much. The warm glow of sunlight predominantly above Durdle Door. A very pleasing image to view and take in.

You can really appreciate the thought and effort put into executing this shot. I love the lines all leading into the centre of the frame, from the static lines of the moving walkway to the motion lines that are perfectly straight created by the camera moving along the walkway. Great concept and really nicely done.
