Long exposures

I've seen a few of this sort of image in this competition but this beat the rest in my eyes. Great positioning of the cloud. A worthy top ten and thanks for sharing

This was one of a few images which caught my eye straight away. I've got a few long exposures with moving boats myself but I'm never happy with them but this just works. I like that they're all the same colour. I suppose I maybe would have taken another shot so the yellow boat out of the frame but I imagine thats a silly comment as I expect its very busy! Loved this. I love a bit of astro myself with milkyway and the Aurora. My brother lives on one of the Islands of Orkney so I've seen a few displays although nothing like this yet although its rarer further south. Great photo anyway - thanks for sharing.
