Macro abstracts

Great abstract photo and colours and good choice of subject! Interesting point of view. It can be any scale. From the air, from land or close up as the photographer described. The details and colours work well and the water gives a nice "painterly" touch to the photo. Well done and congrats as a winner of this contest!

I just love these complementary colours blending into eachother. Well executed idea and photo. The shapes are in real harmony in this composition. Very well balanced so this is exposed at the right moment. You could easily dream away and forget about everything else.

A very strong abstract of an ordinary subject. The colours fit perfectly together. I like how you can get lost in these shapes and imagine the shapes become characters. A balanced composition makes this a 3rd place worthy. Keep up the good work!

Very lovely shapes and interesting subject you don't see every day. Well chosen subject. Great use of light and exposure makes this a unique photo. The challenge to take to photo without the anemone fish works out well and a second place is well deserved!

I really like this composition with interesting details and shapes. Unfortunately this photo didn't win a prize in this contest, but has a lot of potential to become a future prize winner. It's worth the try to make a more balanced composition with these shapes. I would like to see more patterns of these cactus or maybe just one end in a very abstract way.
