Macro and Close-Up Fruit or Vegetables (in colour)

There were numerous entries of close up / macro of apples, but for me this one showed something quite special. It is a beautiful composition, with wonderful textures and lighting. Absolutely gorgeous. Well worthy of the top 10 in my opinion. Well done.

Simply stunning. The detail that has been captured in this image is outstanding. The light and the colour makes a simple berry really something special. I am staring at this photo and seeing a planet in space. It's mesmerising. Worthy of 1st place. Well done.

WOW! What a stunning photo. Such a simple idea that has worked beautifully.. The textures and the detail captured by the light shining through the cabbage leak is brilliant. The main vessel reminds me of a river delta or the blood vessels of a body feeding the surrounding cells. Absolutely perfect and worthy of 2nd place. Well done.
