Congratulations!  This landscape portrait immediately caught my eye, not only for its themes of the contest. The framing is well measured, and I prefer the off kilter approach within this environment as we appreciate more of the textures within the polytunnel.

**This contest is open to photographers ranked between 251 and 1000 in this week’s <a href="https://www.photocrowd.com/photographer-community/">Leaderboard</a>.** Plastic has transformed our lives, and is shaped and used in countless invaluable ways, in practically every situation you can think of. Uses range from the purely practical to the purely aesthetic, and exploring your world with plastics in mind can be mind-blowing when you realise quite how ubiquitous it is. How have you shot objects made of plastic, and if you haven’t, what might you turn your lens on? Of course we’re also now more aware of plastic’s serious negative impacts, and these may or may not feature in your images.
