There were many beautiful entries of formal gardens, but the clouds your captured elevated this shot to my top ten list. The colors are vibrant and there is added drama as one. can imagine an approaching storm. You can almost feel the temperature drop by 10 degrees as you scrutinize the photograph. Thank you for your entry..

This is a wonderful photograph that proves green gardens do not always need to be all green. I love the sun drenched colors of this Japanese Garden in the fall. The moss covered branches snaking from the front tree add a lushness even with its absence of leaves. The orange and yellow leaves on the side trees contrast nicely with the green of the remaining trees and bushes. There is harmony and balance. Congratulations on locating the perfect vantage point to capture this inviting garden.

Thank you for entering your photo of this amazing vertical garden. When I wrote the brief, I never imagined a garden like this. It is on such a grand scale it really took my breath away. The portion you captured incorporates many different types of plants. The contrast of color and texture creates a visually interesting piece. I love the way you filled the frame with the garden. It is absolutely stunning.. Congratulations.

Thank you for your entry of this delightful garden mosaic. For those who may not be familiar with them, garden mosaics make use of multiple plants (unlike topiaries which prune a single plant into shape) to produce a living plant sculpture. This whimsical creature is the best example I have seen and is beautifully captured. Love the "kiss of sunlight" on the sculpture. The only fault I could find is the light fixture in the background., though it blends into background well and does not overly detract from the beauty of the shot. Well done!

This is a lovely garden shot. The shadows on the blanket of grass add an extra layer of interest and the red and white flowers provide a much needed pop of color. I like the leading lines created by the trees, flower beds and canopy.. Based on your choice of title, I am assuming you wanted the mountain in the distance to be your focal point. However, I found the large white rock competed with with the mountain for this spot., and for that reason your landscape did not make my tshort list. I might have liked the picture better if you had used a lower point of view and chosen the rock as the focal point. This is a lovely view and a garden I would like to visit someday.
