Firstly , thank you for entering my challenge What is most impressive in this image is the fantastic usage of light upon the man's face. The main features are illuminated while the rest of his face is cast in shadow. The usage of rim lighting gives the portrait more definition. If not for the rim lighting there would've been no separation between the dreadlocks and background,. The fact that he is glancing off into the distance and not into the camera tends to create a point of interest for the viewer-at what he has perceived yonder we shall never know. Congratulations and well done!
Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The fantastic usage of light in this portrait is most impressive. Most captivating is the glance of the gentleman straight into the camera . One immediately feels a connection which draws the viewer further into the image in order to peruse it. The cigarette dangling from his mouth also serves as a point of interest but does not distract from the main subject as a whole. Congratulations and well done!
Firstly thank you for entering my challenge. One can imagine this gentleman taking some respite at the end of a hard day's work or social event and perhaps pondering upon events that took place . His eyes and finger are pointing to his left side thus depicting a point of interest to him - what this could possibly be we shall never know. Congratulations and well done!
Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. Although the gentleman isn't looking directly into the camera but more towards his left side one can still feel the connection. The frown upon his face also tends to concern the viewer as to what exactly is of such grave consternation. The cigarette with it's twirling smoke rings also causes a point of interest but does not, however, distract from the subject as a whole.. Congratulations and well done!

Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. The crop in this image is most impressive and unusual but tends to work extremely well in it's creative fashion. . The connection between the viewer and the gentleman is obvious by the direct nature of the stance of his eye's. The smoke emanating from his mouth also serves as a an important point of interest and seems to be making a statement in it's own right. Congratulation's and well done!
