Minimalism in black and white.

This image was immediately I saw it, one of my favorites.There is an outstanding calmness throughout the picture. This is because of the large neutral wall piece, the long empty table and the working young girl's calm and concentrated expression. The image's long-cut cropping fits the subject perfectly. My first place in the contest. I would never have thought that a trunk on a car in a contest, judged by me, would get a first place. But the frost adds a very beautiful texture, which I completely fell for. A simple everyday motive translated into a poetic minimalist image, by a talented photographer with attention to small details . Congratulations and thanks for participating :-)

A very clean and simple minimalist image with a beautiful light. I love that the dish disappears in the background on the left side of the picture. And I love the round shapes in both the spoon and the dish. In addition, the picture has a very beautiful texture. If it was my picture, I would omit the frame. I think it takes the focus from the beautiful motif. Without the frame, the picture had definitely finished in my top ten list. Thank you for participating with this great picture :-)

One of the many pictures that has become minimalist due to snow. I love how the row of phone piles disappears in the horizon, that one pile is half overturned, and that it still snows while the picture is taken. Well spotted . Here is a fine example of a photographer with a good eye for small everyday details. A talent I admire a lot because it shows us all, that there are motives everywhere. I like that the picture has a somewhat skewed composition, the background's division into a dark and a light side and the rough structure of the gloves. A suggestion for a little improvement, try to remove the bright stripes in the dark side of the background. Thanks for participating with this image :-)
