These sculptures on Crosby beach in Merseyside by Sir Antony Gormley are just fabulous. I had a few images of these sculptures and this one was by far the best. I just love how the long exposure has calmed the sea into a mist like effect and the weathered sculpture just pops out in the image. VERY WELL DONE INDEED!
Firstly, I wish to thank everyone on entering my minimalism (landscape) contest. The images have been excellent and it has been really hard to reach my final top ten. But my first place has awarded to this striking composition with the brave position of the pebble right on the bottom third of the image but placed in the middle. Then your eyes are just led into the frame and the striking colours of the beach and sea.
