An entry using just one colour to create a very appealing abstract. Congrats.

Who would have thought that such an ordinary combination of oil and water could produce such a variety of images and with the "mirrored effect" added to the mix, many outstanding abstracts were achieved and presented.....so thank you to all who participated.

A very dynamic interpretation to the brief. This entry is sharp, vibrant and cheerful. The tiny bubbles included (and not cloned out) add depth and a slight texture to a wonderful creation. Congratulations on my number one choice.

This submission has an intriguing, subdued quality, reminiscent of translucent circles of amber surrounding a milky white planet. Congratulations.

So very different to my first two choices with an explosion of tiny bubbles out-numbering their larger counter-parts to create a colourful galaxy of circles. Congratulations on a worthy top ten finish.

I was immediately struck by the humour presented in this image and noticed you have called it "Big Ears." Thanks for submitting a delightful interpretation to the brief.

Creating oil and water images is a wonderful way to enjoy macro photography and experiment with colour and texture. For this contest though I would love to see those creations taken a step further by using a mirrored effect with the help of photo editing software. Please submit colour images only. I hope you enjoy the creative process.

There is so much to view in this creation which is cleverly composed and colourfully presented. Congrats on a top 10 position.

I was drawn to this image because of its subtle minimalist presentation and soft pastel colours. It could almost be a study in "circle drawings" perfectly rendered on paper. Congrats on a top 10 position.

"From little things, big things grow" (Paul Kelly song). The title of that song seems to fit perfectly with your very effective mirrored image, combining tiny shapes graduating to one gigantic half circle. Congrats and well done.

A wonderful panorama of circles and more circles creating a joyful, summery explosion of colour. Congrats on your top 10 finish.
