Another great image. Technically it isn't the most perfect image, it isn't a sharp panning image and has lots of background distractions like the bright signs - however it has a lot of character. What are they doing, where are they going, where are they? - all questions that go through my head and creates a real interest for me. It must have been a real grab and shoot image, with little preparation as they pass so what you have caught is great. I like this image, a well deserved top 10 place. Well done!

I love the simplicity of this image, the monochrome treatment and light are all fantastic - all working together to show the elegant shapes of this beautiful Vespa. Not the fastest machine in the competition, but the character and design are really well portrayed. The control of the blacks are great, hiding the background but leaving enough detail in the right places. Well done!

Lets hit the road! I love the openness behind this image, leaving the story wide open to the viewer. It captures the freedom of the wide open road, taken at a great time of day (looks like evening) creating great colours and tones. This must have been taken whilst riding pillion, and again a very unique take on the contest. Well done!

The reason why it didn't make the top 10 is because I feel there is a lack of sharpness to the overall image, however I do love the composition used. Well done and keep up the great work!

This is just superb and classy. Why did I pick it? I picked it because it dared to be different and stood out a mile from the standard motorcycle images. It's up close and personal, with excellent detail and light. The colours have also been slightly desaturated providing a great tone and atmosphere. Well done!

Wow, this image is superb. Of the many sport/ track images this image stood out by far. So well captured, sharp and a great sense of speed with motion caught in the background and wheels. It is so hard to get these images that balances all these elements to perfection without any distractions such as other bikes, marshals in high visibility jackets etc in the background. I'm sure Valentino would be happy to have this one on his wall! Well done!

Another great track side image, excellent timing and technique producing a very sharp enjoyable image. I also like how low to the ground you feel in this image, either you were lying on the floor or you were downhill from the riders position, either way I really like the angle it is shot from. It isn't rated as high as other images as we have the dreaded background distractions, which is so difficult to avoid at the track side, however it has been nicely softened with a deep depth of field. Well done.

This is brilliant! A timeless image that could have been taken last week or 50 years ago. I love the monochrome conversion, removing colour distraction, and emphasising the bikes and riders which contrast against the bright tent top above. It is also the little details that drew me, like the wood textures, the tent pole detail and the little faces peering into the 'wall of death'. Great capture, very unique - great effort. Well done!

The image is sharp, the riders face is in the image showing deep concentration and there is great motion captured. The level of competition was so high for the track bikes and I had to chose some over the others. Well done and keep up the great work!

I like the vibe this image portrays, a real love of his/her custom bike in a grungy textured environment. It also just had to be finished in monochrome which has been managed well and really works, accentuating the white wall tyres. I also like the little details like the helmet on the floor behind the bike, the decals, the scarf between the forks and the engine detail - really giving my eyes a feast of detail to explore. Well done!
