Mountain life

I really love this image, it fits the brief perfectly and is a great example of mountain life. If I'm being really critical I'd have preferred it to have been shot at a wider aperture to give a little more background seperation but it's still a really beautiful image. It's composed nicely and is well balanced. Well done and a worthy winner. Congratulations :)

This image appealed to me because of the obvious effort involved in getting there for the shot. It's composed really nicely and the light is fantastic. I usually don't like photos with a figure included but this is an exception as it really shows off the scale of the landscape! If I was being super critical I'd maybe lift the shadows just a small amount, but that's just personal preference! A lovely photo!

I really like this image, it's obviously a huge place but the total lack of anything man made makes it really appealing. The light on the mountain face is lovely and the location looks like it has loads to offer! If it was my image I'd maybe lighten the trees by 1/3 stop in post processing just to balance it out a little but that's a minor point. Well done :)

I really like the composition here, and the overall mood is great. The only thing that stopped me from including it in the commended list was the sharpness in the background. If it was shot at a narrower aperture I'd have included it for sure as aside from that It's a really nice image!

I like the almost abstract nature of this image, at first glance it's not obvious what it is but once you see it the sense of scale becomes apparent. I like the array of colours and the shapes/patterns in the mountains are really appealing. I'd have maybe added a little more contrast but it's still a beautiful image!

I really like this, using the drone has given a whole new perspective and it shows off the rugged landscape really well. I like that you've taken a risk and flown in strong wind, it's definitely paid off. It's composed really well and processed nicely. I like the cool tones too, they suit the mood perfectly.
