Photographs when executed well should put you right in the image. This frame evokes sounds, smells and at this range you can almost imagine getting splashed as the tussle unfolds. Dramatic, full of movement. The colour pallet is of just the right amount and draws us right in to the heart of the action without distracting us elsewhere. Terrifying for the fish but joyous for us to see. Congrats. PJB
What more could you ask for. A wonderfully on brief frame of a very handsome female as she moves with purpose. Head down and decisive in her motion with the water trailing from her hind paws. The depth of field is compressed and melted with rich detail all across her profile. really enjoyed the water at the front end matching her shape. You can almost hear the splashes. PJB

Arguably the most important movement in nature. Wonderfully soft in part and eye catchingly sharp where it counts. Seed dispersal relies greatly on movement and this image is a lovely ode to one of natures greatest journeys. wonderful hints of colour, almost metallic, but delicate with it. perhaps the softest of breezes going on here that really gives a feeling of motion. **This contest is open to photographers ranked between 1 and 250 in this week’s Leaderboard.** Nature is a broad term, which for the purposes of our contests refers to the natural world, but excluding humans, or depictions and evidence of human activity. Movement in nature is found all around us, from our gardens and local parks, to distant lands we may have travelled to, so this is a theme that should truly be open to all. How you choose to interpret and show movement in nature is for you alone to decide.
