Mundane Macro and Close Up

This contest is for your magnificent macro and close up shots of mundane objects.  Try to show the beauty in the details which can be revealed when the subject is photographed very close up.  The mundane subject can be anything you like, such as coins, a match head, the point of a pencil or the teeth of a key.  Entries can be in colour or black and white.
