Murals in their Surroundings (in colour)

Brief

In this contest your colour photographs should depict a mural in its surrounding context. A mural is a painting or other work of art executed directly onto a wall. Your photograph should show the whole or most of the mural, not just a detail and should also include the surrounding context of the work, not cropped to show only the mural. Photographs must be in colour. The mural may be in any medium, such as fresco, mosaic, oil or ceramic. It may be on an internal wall of a building, or on the outside wall, and could be either religious or secular in its subject matter. It may be modern or ancient and peeling.
