I particularly like the sense of drama with the dark skies and almost ominous-looking rock formations that appear to march through the hazy and ethereal waters.

Many thanks for entering my contest Natural Tourist Attractions with your capture of the famous hot springs. The contrasts really stand out and, usually, when photographing scenes we generally try to avoid people in the shot, however here the crowds add context and highlight the sheer size of these natural wonders. In the 90s before digital photography I photographed scenes in Yellowstone and took the reels to be developed into a Californian supermarket. Unfortunately, the store lost the film (or the photos - I don't recall which) and all I was offered was an apology and a free film in compensation.. I would have preferred my photos!
