Nature and Humans Co-Existing in Harmony

Very cool effect! This photo immediately caught my eye when I first saw it. It took me a while to realize the humans were miniature. Compared to nature we are very small and I love how you have portrayed that through the tiltshift effect.

Beautiful image! When I first saw this photo I knew I wanted it to be my winning image. The mountains and sunset provide a beautiful natural backdrop while the two people and sailboats show the human component. The gull in the corner of the image ties it all together with the sun shining through it's wings. This photo gave me the feeling of "harmony" that I was looking for from this competition. Such a serene shot! The two people kayaking look so peaceful amidst the the calm water and trees. I love your choice to make this photo black and white it brings the focus to the kayakers and tree branches nearest to them.

I love the atmosphere, composition and colors in this photo. There were many lighthouse photos but this was one of my favorites. I love that you included so much lovely foreground. The purple flowers almost look like bokeh but in the foreground instead of background. I love that the lighthouse is in the background it is a very unique composition.

I love the atmosphere in this photo. When I first saw this photo I felt immediately transported to this place. The human sitting on the dock looking out at the sunrise and ducks feels so peaceful. The fog adds the perfect touch to this photo making it my #2 photo.
