I love how well the eye pops on this image with that beautiful vibrant blue. The subjects separation from the background really helps to isolate him and the focus, depth of field, colour palette, composition and exposure are all spot on.

The simplicity of this image really helps it to stand out with that wonderful symmetry on the bird. Your choice to centralise the subject works really well as he still has empty space to fly into and the exposure is good with no blown highlights.

Typically when a subject has symmetry and looks directly at the camera it can be wise to centralise it, but you’ve shown here that those guidelines do not need to be followed as this image works really well! The exposure and focus is spot on too.

The shallow depth of field really helps to draw you into the subject in this image, aided further by those stunning blue eyes and the partial frame caused by the blanket. The composition is good with the subject looking into the frame, drawing you in with it.

What a truly fabulous capture! You’ve frozen the action at the perfect moment with a good shutter speed and aperture. I love how there’s a spectator in the background as it adds an additional element to the image and it works well in black and white.

This image is absolutely beaming with personality, and sometimes this can be a challenging feat with animals and wildlife. The composition is spot on with great symmetry and no distracting elements and I love the natural yet vibrant colour palette.

Pigeons are easily one of the most overlooked subjects when it comes to animal and wildlife photography, yet they don’t deserve this with such incredible vibrance and markings on their feathers. Here they add scale and depth to the image and truly steal the limelight.

You’ve managed to capture two of the most heavily overlooked species in wildlife photography and have shown that you can still capture incredible images of them! I love the fast paced action in this image and how well you’ve composed it, with the gulls framing the image nicely.

Little birds are very challenging to photograph given their small stature and sheer speed and unpredictability. You’ve captured this well with a great composition, good exposure and depth and it’s well focused. The colour palette is natural, vibrant and warm.

The subtle and warm light in this image is lovely and this capture is great, especially with the front foot elevated on the deer. When possible, try to avoid centralising your subject and rather get them to look into the frame.

The snow, tree and foliage in the foreground frames this image incredibly well, drawing you into the impressive and handsome subject which pops with the contrast of colour too. The exposure is spot on and I feel like I’m actually there in the scene.
